Application for an out of hours lockage should be made in writing to

At least 7 days notice is required, a fee will be advised dependent on staff rostering.

Navigation Restrictions
Goolwa and Tauwitchere Locks

As from April 10 2007 the Goolwa and Tauwitchere Locks will be closed until further notice due to low water levels in Lake Alexandrina

Alternate access to the Coorong is available downstream of the Goolwa Barrage at the Beacon 19 boat ramp, off Barrage Road, Goolwa, as well as the Mundoo boat ramp, off Mundoo Channel Road, Hindmarsh Island.
