The South Australian Water Corporation, (SA Water) is the contracting authority to the Murray Darling Basin Authority for the operation and maintenance of the River Murray control structures Locks 1 to 9, Lake Victoria Storage and the 5 barrages on the Coorong near Goolwa. River Murray Operations (RMO), a part of Operations Division of SA Water undertakes these responsibilities. It is based in Berri, South Australia.

Navigation Restrictions
Lock 9 at Kulnine is closed to navigation from 21st May 2012 for 10 to 12 weeks
to enable extensive essential maintenance to the lock chamber.
